guilt problems. as previously stated. but, thankfully, i have sweet friends like jesse to give me SO MUCH HOTSAUCE.
i used the word "assuage" three times in one day. i am having some guilt issues, lately.
eleanor had a cast and a haircut, and i got new glasses. it is hard to incorporate these new accessories and styles into my drawings. i've been cheating for a few weeks. but we went on a big adventure and i realized we needed a sketchbook portrait update.
bad situations that are easy to draw about.
two funny comics! one kid who's family was clearly not paying enough attention to him, and one friend named jesse who is having wrist anxiety.
"oh, is that us, sleeping near a dumptser?"
i drew the dumpster first, and then my ghosty bedmate later. okay?
sometimes my drawings call to my attention things that i need to focus more on in my life.
really, cause, come on. they're like, easily one of the best snacks.
well, whether or not i admit it, i can't change it. nor do i want to.
sometimes my life feels like it was constructed the way this house was built.
really, getting fixed up never works.
i didn't make this choice, or maybe i made this choice.
my sweet grandpa, and some barns in upstate new york.
i've been being reminded a lot lately, of a lot of things.
just a reminder.
but at least it's springtime. i saw a bluebird.
maybe if i could choose it, that would be my superpower. being able to draw things and then have them come true. not dorito quitting.
i just really love a good sea song.
i felt this way when i drew this, but i don't feel this way, now. don't worry.
this night monster will, i think, be the subject of a larger painting pretty soon.
my dog is THE BEST DOG. seriously. i love that guy.
